The Subaru DEX

Subaru has unveiled for Japanese markets the latest in a long line of wagons, the Subaru DEX.

Mostly a redressed Toyota bB / Diahatsu Coo / Materia / etc with a 1.3L 4-speed automatic powerplant. Priced at $14,811 to $19,438.

I’m not quite sure why Subaru doesn’t bring this to the United States, it could battle right along side the Scion xB and help boost Subaru’s hip, econo image.
